ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Thomas Dimopoulos has authored stories which have been distributed internationally by The Associated Press and have appeared in publications such as The Philadelphia Inquirer, Salon, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The Washington Post.  

Born and raised in New York City, shortly after relocating to the Saratoga region in the 1990s, Dimopoulos co-founded the music ensemble bX7 21 and regularly performed at venues across the Capital Region such as Bogie’s, QE2, Valentines, and numerous others. He also founded the literary zine Chronicles of Disorder, which counted members in 30 U.S. states and several different countries.

For more than a decade, Dimopoulos worked as a staff journalist and columnist at the Pulitzer Prize winning Post-Star, and at The Saratogian, and his work has appeared in the Times Union, Hill Country Observer, Metroland, Saratoga Living, Saratoga Wire, The Weeklings, and WNYT NewsChannel 13, among others.

Saratoga Stories: Magic and Loss, is his first book.
